Being comfortable in your own skin

There are times in life when people will judge you for the way you look and dress.I wont lie, I have been on the receiving end of snide, mean and hurtful comments a lot of times. The secret is, to not let it get to you. As long as you have your own unique personal style of dressing, what others think of you, is none of your business. If someone doesn't like what you wear, that's okay- as long as you are comfortable in them. I think that others are allowed to giver their opinion, directly or indirectly- it doesn't matter- as long as you, yourself are strong enough to not let it bring you down.
Remember, wear what you want and when you want. Dress to express, not to impress and above all, be comfortable in your own skin. That, ladies, is what will keep you going and with your head held high!

On a style note, I decided to wear my sparkly lace skirt with blue accents on a hot summer day on the island. I've been leaning onto a lot of blues and whites off late. What about you guys?

  2. Beautiful post. And so true about the haters - this is all they can do. It's because of their own insecurities of course, but it doesn't make it any less hurtful!! xx
