I LOVE how big my hair is in this shoot. If you read my post on my favorite products of the month, you'll know why .

Anyway I'm loving the new H&M collection and I recently picked up this dress/top on my last spree and I absolutely adore it. You can dress it up or down depending on the occasion.
To dress it up, I suggest you pair it with stockings or a body con skirt and pull out some sky high heels.Pink and grey is a great combo, so adding some color to the look for a night out would be perfect. And unless you're skinny- Flat chested and flat on the rear, I suggest you never wear this whilst revealing legs.
I would normally pull back all my hair into a pony tail for a dress that has sleeve detailing, but look at how big my hair is! Pulling it back into a knot would just upset my locks so I let them loose.

Oh,and adding a necklace to a neckline like this, would just kill the look, so opt for glam earrings instead.

Eid Mubarak you all <3

Until the next post,

Kaleidoscopic maxi dress and the sea

The best part of this years summer was maxi dresses, don’t you think? And lets not forget this denim vest that I've used and abused all summer long.
I picked up this gorgeous printed maxi from River Island and can I just say I’m so glad that I did? I’m usually not a huge fan of heavy prints but this dress, even with all the cross-eyed geometric shapes, has such a great fall. It’s a little long and I had to gather up the skirt a little as I walked around, but that made me feel like a queen, so lets ad on 5 points for that.

On another note, I can feel winter creep in because I get so cold at work, I'm afraid I'll turn into a Popsicle. Also I've started hating mornings. Yep, winter is definitely around the corner.

Products I'm currently loving

So my favorite products keep changing every 2 months like every other woman, but from last month to this one, there's been A LOT of new products that have replaced my usual's.There are actually more than the 6 that I'm going to talk about but I don't want to bore you all so lets start with....

  •  Makeup Forever HD foundation. I love the texture of this foundation. Its light, has perfect coverage and is great for combination skin, like mine. I actually refrain from purchasing new foundations as I always end up hating recommended ones and fall back to my usual- MAC in Nc 42. I started off 4 years ago with Clarins, hated it so much, I ended up using them in my paintings, Switched to MAC and loved it. Tried a few others like L'oreal and Clinique but I always found a reason to fall back to MAC. But the HD foundation from makeup forever is excellent. I actually picked the pink tone, which was a big mistake because I'm a yellow tone. But I still put this baby to use by applying it on my cheek to sculpt my face, and I'm not kidding when I say it creates magic.

  •  I recently splurged on 25 nail colors, all by LA colors and Jordana. I love LA colors because they come in brilliant shades, have high shine and also come in limited edition collections and matte shades. The "cracked" collection is fantastic and so are their mini nail art kits. I've changed my nails so many times last month, I don't think my nails have even seen sunlight until  I got a clean up and mani last week. Moving on...

  •  Body Shop's tea tree oil. This tiny bottle fits right in your palm and comes for 3BD a bottle, but don't be fooled by the size. It lasts for more than 3 months. It acts as a great toner and evens out skin tone and gets rid of blemishes and scars. It sits in my favorite category because of another reason also. Although the bottle says oil, the formula is not at all oily when applied. In fact, it leaves your skin matte.3 stars for this genius concoction.

  •  Mane and tail's herbal regrow has been by far the best product I've purchased. It's made my locks so much more thicker and longer. The only downside is that it may leave your hair dry, and to that deep conditioning after shampoo is a must if you've got dry roots. If you've got an oily scalp, should be perfect for you. This shampoo was initially made for horses but it has been so successful and I really don't know the story of how they started supplying it for humans, but hey, Google? :)

  • Garnier's BB cream and eye roll on concealer. For those of you who dont know about BB creams, they act as an all in one- primer + moisturizer and is perfect before applying makeup as it mattifies the face and creates a clean even surface. The garnier BB cream is really good and extremely affordable. Available in all supermarkets and they come in 3 shades.
  • The eye roll on stick is supposed to work as an anti-dark circle cream and a concealer. Don't know about the anti-dark circle bit but I'll give it a thumbs up to work as a concealer. Its perfect as it leaves the under eye area looking bright and dewey as opposed to other cakey looking heavy concealers.

So that's about it for now. Will update you guys once I get obsessed with other products:) Until then,

Tropical cocktail

As we're getting out of summer soon and color palettes are getting darker by the minute, I'm soaking up the last few days of my hot colored pants and bright prints.
I'll definitely miss all the loud drama of summer, but I wont lie, I'm actually waiting for winter, to go down to my roots when it comes to colors. Dark shades. Navy, grays  burdungys, browns, chocolates and black. Ah, black, how I've missed you.
On a style note, I've always loved the combo of orange and green. But I didn't want to end up looking like the Indian flag so I decided to ease it out by donning a printed top with hints of orange to balance out the look with the green pants.

Until I pile on my over the top- kohl  and deep shades of goth, enjoy the last few weeks of summer.

First Stockings with shorts and now Scarves...

Stockings worn with shorts and skirts were my first tip to phasing into fall. I posted about my love for stockings worn under shorts (Try it out yourself ladies) on my FB page a few days back and here's the second- Scarves! Its no secret that I love scarves- in all colors and prints. I love wearing them with almost everything, which is why I eagerly wait until winter to pull out my chunky knits.

It isn't winter yet, which is why I'm only still wearing cotton scarves. I used up a voucher I received on nothing but scarves last weekend and boy am I glad to have picked out the last piece of this gorgeous printed number. Yay.

On another note, I've started wearing my top knot higher than the usual. Don't be shocked if its on my face the next post. Haha. Jay Kay!

Until the next post,
