Stranger in my closet

Skirt:Oasis, Blouse:Gifted, Shoes:Zara, Bag:Thrifted, Headband: DIY, Jewelry:Monsoon

I've had this ruffle front blouse for a while now and I don't really know how its in my closet. I don't even think its mine but my mom claims she got it for me 2 years back. When did that happen???

Anyway,I decided to wear it because I like the ruffles on the center front and it goes well with this pleated skirt and my new flatties from Zara.

I think an outfit like this is perfect for weekends because its cute and classy at the same time, sans the heels.I believe you don't always need to wear heels to look chic.
On another note, I love pleated maxis and minis, but i'm very fussy about the fall and fit which is why I  have only 5 pleated skirts in my closet which I've picked after at least 10 trials in the trial room.

Anyway, have a great day..erm night!

Fortune cookie bag and jewel tones

Dress:Topshop, Skirt:Koton, Shoes:Nine West, Bag:Gifted, Bracelets:Monsoon, Camaieu, India

I picked out this hot merlot dress from Topshop last year for the Grazia "Fall for Fashion" party and me being me, I haven't worn it more than... oh! actually I did wear it once after that.

Anyway, Since I've been doing the dress as top thing lately, I decided to put this to use as well. How well does the merlot go with this deep green skirt?
If you look closely, You'll see the colored layers of my dress through the skirt, and I think that adds a little something extra.

I actually re-worked the dress by adding embellished motifs on the shoulders to add some edge to the dress. Its a great way to have a unique dress and that way even if you walk into another person wearing the same dress, you wont completely want to run away and hide in the restroom. :D

On another note, how cute is this bag? A dear friend gifted it to me from her trip to India. I love that the handles are bangles and also that it looks like a giant fortune cookie!

FMH Boutique : Fashion Must Have

FMH boutique has finally opened their first store in Bahrain at Nakheel Centre, Saar. I was welcomed into the store by a very cheerful Nadia, who showed me around the boutique and spoke very passionately about the exclusive designer labels  that they carry.

I love the entire concept of the store and I love that their merchandise is so unique and edgy, yet wearable. They have a fantabulous collection of shoes and I absolutely love the structured ankle boots by FINSK.

They also carry a beautiful collection of accessories. If you’re an accessory junkie like me, you’ll love the dainty, delicate jewelry by Mercedes Salazar and the fierce pieces by Bjorg. I also love the embellished collars by Gemma Lister.

I highly recommend the boutique if you want completely unique, trendy pieces whilst engaging in friendly conversation with the store staff.
Visit FMH boutique (that stands for Fashion Must Have BTW), and grab your favorite item while stocks last.

 Loving the hangers!

 Sequinned collars? Yes,please!

 Gorgeous jewelry by Mercedes Salazar

Brownie points for the headband

Crochet top: New Look, Boots & vest: F21, Jeans:Pimkie, Bag:Parfois, Belt worn as head band:F21
                                                                               Pin It

No hairband to match your outfit? NO PROBLEM. A belt will solve your problems. I suggest using a skinny waisted belt, since they're shorter than your regular hip belts.*The best belts to use are under-bust belts.

I wanted to wear a head band to hold up all my baby hair and those annoying fly-away hairs and I didn't want to wear a black band with this ensemble. I used a belt that came with one of my dresses from F21 and I love how it looks, with the buckle angled on one side. Tres cute, non?

On another note, a very dear friend gifted me this super cute jute bag from Parfois and I'm loving it. I've been carrying it 3 days in a row now. How beautifully does it sit with my tan boots and headband?

Try it out yourself and feel free to post looks on my FB page.

Satin

Dress: FCUK, Leggings:Zara, Shoes:Spring, Wayfarers:H&M, Clutch:Centrepoint, Bracelets:F21,Cuff: India

Here's a great way to wear a short cocktail dress during the day.Ditch the stockings during the summer and opt for leggings instead. Also, playing match all the time is boring. Try to create sharp contrasts when working with jewel tones, like how I wore these hot pink cutout heels with my electric blue dress.

Who says cocktail dresses are too dressy for the day? Work your own day look with a dressy number and prove them wrong.

P.S: My leggings got a little dusty during the shoot.

Making the best of it.

Dress, worn as top: River Island, Skirt: Promod, Heels: Zara, Belt: Alcott, Necklace: Sacoor Bros. , All hand accessories: Mango, Clutch: Gifted

I've been doing the 'dress-worn as top too much' lately, and I'm so proud of me because usually if I wanted to wear an orange blouse, I'd go and buy one juts to wear it for a day.But here I am, making the best out of everything I have. This body con orange dress I got a year back, has been sitting in my closet for so long, it was only fair I wore it again.

On another note,I hate letting my hair loose in the summer. Ladies, Its best if you don an up-do during this heat because, well, its so much more comfortable. And a lot of you have been asking about my trademark top knot,I'm going to work on a tutorial on how to wear it and how to pimp it up a little as well.

Hope you all enjoy the holidays.
