Let your weekend wardrobe be casual and comfortable. The perfect outfit for a relaxed weekend would be a cute dress and flats or loose tees and funky leggings.

Here are my top tips on looking chic in casuals during weekends:

ü      Avoid complicated garments like lace and structured silhouettes.
ü      Ditch the heels. If you still want that extra height, opt for wedges or high tops instead.
ü      Wear something that’s not too body hugging.
ü      Choose a light, airy fabric.
ü      Pull out leggings-any color any print.
ü      Opt for a cross body bag or something you can carry leaving your hands free.
ü      Don a top knot or a girly braid.
ü      Never forget to accessorize. More on the wrists.

Remember, less is more when you have a lot of errands to run. Also I always say, accessorizing is the best way to looking effortlessness chic, no matter what you're wearing.

Blogger event at FMH Boutique

FMH Boutique recently held a blogger event at the store where all the bloggers were invited to style a model  in their own individual style. It was great fun playing around with different items of clothing and trying to get different looks by mixing and matching.FMH has an amazing collection and they recently introduced bahraini label "Obsessed" to the range. Don't forget to like their Facebook page You can do so by clicking HERE . For more updates follow them on Twitter

I also finally got to meet other bloggers from Bahrain and Saudi "in person"and I was extremely thrilled to chat away to such amazing women.

Here's a look at what went down this Thursday at the event:

Spiced mint under the blazing sun

The easiest way to looking effortlessy chic is by pairing a great pair of jeans with a blazer. I've often raved about the "Alice" fit jeans at Mango- They never disappoint. If the tag mentions "Skinny", they'll stay that way even after repeated use unlike jeans from F21 and HM that usually stretch out with time.I also recommend the skinnies at Pimkie.

Let's talk about blazers. With the temperatures soaring here in the Middle East, it's practical to stick to cotton and light fabrics. This blazer from H&M is perfect. Its lightweight, comfortable and not too tight which is why it's the perfect blazer for summer. I picked this one months back and I doubt they're still available in stores. An alternative to this would be the jersey blazers at Pimkie or Zara.

P.S: Take note of how perfectly my nails match the band on my hat.

Have a happy weekend.

Steve Madden-Official opening at BCC

Gorgeous shoes on display

Myself and Inna

This bright number caught my eye, so I had to try it on.

They have a great selection of bags. My personal favorite are the studded ones.

With Archana-Marketing manager at ARG

Myself and Dilraaz, editor of Sabaya mag. How cool are these carry bags?

I finally picked these cobalt blue peep toes <3

What I'm wearing:Head to Toe ZARA

It’s been a month (I think) since Steve Madden opened doors to public at Bahrain City Center but they recently held an official press opening in full glory.
If you haven’t heard of Steve Madden, It’s an American brand and they have gorgeous shoes at great prices. I’ve been waiting for them to open a store here in Bahrain and I swear I could hear the hallelujah chorus as I set foot into the store.

I was invited to the store opening a few days back and I must say the collection is simply fab. I’d been eyeing a pair of studded pumps for 2 weeks now and sadly, they were no longer available. So guys, if you like something, buy it on the spot, because chances are, you’ll never see them again(because they're selling like hotcakes, ofcourse!)

Visit Steve Madden at Bahrain City Centre , ground floor.
