Seeing Spots

If you are all familiar with my shopping behavior, you know I love a good deal (what woman doesn't? ) and I wont shy away from looking in the teen section, which is where I found this cute apron- dress. That's what I call it because I don't know that it's actually called. If any of you do, please do let me know so I can stop making a fool of myself describing it the next time.
Anyway, I think this is the 3rd spotted item I own in my closet, because spotted clothing don't usually appeal to me. But this dress was a steal at 4 BD and I just had to get it because of the fun style and the fact that it would work perfectly with my reverse printed clutch! Spotted pieces are actually perfect to style as a color- blocked look, by pairing a polka dot tee with a bright yellow skirt or a spotted trouser with a red tee. Spots are actually easy to work with and require very less thought to pull off a fantastic look! To go a bit bolder, mix spots, stripes and a bright color!
I personally only work with polka dots for a day time look as I think they're more playful while evenings call for a more classier look.

On a different note, I hate summer. Have I mentioned that already?

In order to support the society give these families a new start and maintain its efforts in providing families with a good quality of life, The Bow Project will be donating a percentage of its proceeds to Al Sanabel Orphans Care Society.

To launch the campaign Reem BuQais as well as Duaa Zainal who helped her in organizing and planning the campaign, teamed up with eleven of Bahrain’s bloggers to introduce the interactive social media campaign on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The Bloggers were photographed in Vyu Studios located in Riffa. The Campaign launch was five days with three bloggers featured daily. Followers participated in trying to guess the bloggers from the teaser photos posted. Buy a BOW and make a difference.

As you all know, I was a part of The bow project with Designer/ Blogger, Reem BuQais recently. She has her latest collection- Rivera, in Green Diamond Boutique, Seef Mall.
In today's casual outfit, I decided to pair my plum colored twill tunic with a bow by Reem BuQais.(Reem's bows are all hand-made by the way!). After I  added the bow, I realized that I had way too many purple and pink accessories to spruce up this casual look, so I threw on a printed scarf instead of a necklace .

The best things about these Bows by Reem, is that you can wear it anywhere you like! Doesn't have to be on the neckline, it could also be on the back, on your hair, on your wrist or anywhere YOU like, for that matter!
All the money generated by sales from these bows will be going towards a good cause. For more details and supporting this cause, buy the bows by contacting Reem or by visiting her facebook HERE.
