The much dreaded question

Skirt:Promod, Vest:Forever21, Blouse:HM, Bag:Thailand, Flats:Bombay

So Recently, a very good friend asked me a very tough question and it was, “What would you do if you lost this jacket?”

At first I was like I can always get another one. But then horror thoughts started coming into my head like ‘what if they’re out of stock’ or ‘What if my size isn't available anymore’ and ‘what if a similar style doesn't look as perfect as this’.
Ugh I hate how attached I get to a certain item of clothing. I still remember misplacing my favorite Zara trench in a Brazilian restaurant in India. I hated Brazilian food after that. I refused to go anywhere near the area for years and a strong hatred build up in me and I'm not proud of it.

I SOUND SO VAIN RIGHT NOW, but I've been cured now. I promise :)

xxoo, P.S still not vain.

Do the Denim

Jacket: Hush Puppies, Dress:Vero Moda, Bag:Aldo, Flats:HM, Bracelets: Monsoon

A great tip when phasing into fall is to invest in a good Denim Jacket. This jacket was designed by a friend slash designer for Hush Puppies and I got the sample that had come in for approvals at a great price. Ever since, it has become my best friend. It keeps me cool during that awkward phase on the island when its chilly for a while and burning hot the next second.

On another note, I love this dipped back dress from Vero Moda, I purchased it 2 seasons back and I blame myself for never having blogged about it. Its a beautiful soft cotton blend fabric and the fall is so flattering, which makes it one of my favorite casual dresses in my closet.

Until my next denim jacket post,

The last few weeks of jersey

I recently purchased this cute bag from Aldo and wanted to show it off a little so I pulled out my jersey hi low dress I got a year back from F21. I've only worn it once so I decided it was high time I wore it before it gets too cold for 180 gsm jersey.

How beautifully does it sit with the tan accents?

On another note, I’ve been getting a lot of good feedback after I posted my first video tutorial and I’m so glad you guys liked it, although the picture quality was terrible.
I’ll be posting more videos over the next few months so stay tuned for that :)

Until the next post,

Over Dosing on accessories

Skirt:F21, Lace blouse:Gifted, Stockings:Topshop, Shoes:Miss Selfridge, Clutch:Monsoon, Accessories :Anna dello russo for HM, Monsoon

I finally found the perfect skater skirt for fall! I love the length, fit and the leather detailing and the fact that it can be worn so many ways.

In this look I just wanted to show off all my accessories, mainly my Anna Dello Russo cuff. Isn't it gorgeous? It's such a great statement piece to own.Never be afraid of piling on the accessories when your outfit is neutral. Stack up bangles and pile on necklaces and that is what makes a difference. Talking about statement pieces  notice the heavily embellished clutch? Enough said.

Until next time,

Video Tutorial: My top knot secret revealed.

A lot of my readers and FB page members have asked me how I keep my top knot so high and perfect. Well, here's how :)
Because its my first video EVER, the picture quality is not that great and you might find it hard to read, but hey, watch on...Its super easy and takes only 2 minutes.

The hair tongs ( I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE ACTUALLY CALLED ) are available in Hair care boutiques and even small thrifty stores in Manama and Gudaibiya.

Another 'focus on these shoes' story

Shoes:Zara, Bag and Jeans:Mango, Tee:HM, Hat:Camaieu, Accessories:Monsoon Accessorize and Aldo

You don’t need heels to always look chic. Flats can give you that, along with added comfort! Now I’m not saying I don’t love my heels but every now and then I like to splurge on a classy looking pair of flats, like these GORGEOUS babies from Zara. It was love at first sight. I love the pointed toes, the color and the stud detailing. The best part about these babies (Yes I refer to them as my babies) is that you can even wear them with a dress and look equally stunning as you would with heels on. Now I’m not a huge fan of flats for dinner dates and parties but these you can totally wear because of the pointy toes and the rich red color!
Oh, if they only carried multiple colors!

Because I wanted the footwear to be the hero of this look, I paired them with a loose tee, a hat and jeans to give off a chic lazy boy look.

On another note, I’m beginning to phase into fall already and I’ve already started wearing my darker colors and can I just say I missed black? Oh Black. And Grey …and navy and burgundy… and... Ok I’ll go now.
